Life

Life here on Magnolia Ave. has been going on,sometimes busy,sometimes slow. Lately,the unbearable heat has made life difficult and the wildfires that come along with it are certainly hard to deal with. My son lives in Carlsbad and while he was luckily not in the path of the fires he was close enough to have to deal with smoke and ash,but he is safe and for that I am grateful.

Saturday I spent some time at the Relay for Life Walk in Colton. A family friend had a booth there and we helped out a bit and supported the walkers. My sister and her husband,(who is a cancer survivor),walked and so did a nephew,(another cancer survivor).
