Wedding and Fish Sitting

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending my niece's wedding!
She and her now husband have been together for ten years and recently decided to make it official. Congratulations Joe and Erica!
In other news, my great nephew Roman,(who is 5), called me the other day to ask if I would fish sit for him while he was away for two weeks.
I of course said yes and Frankie,(short for Frankenstien),came to spend some time here with me. It has been quite awhile since I took care of a goldfish, so hopefully it goes well,...I would hate to try and find a look-a-like!

Busy,busy June and a give-away winner!

I am sorry to be gone so long, but June has been one heck of a month. I've had a lovely time celebrating my birthday, highlights being a visit and lunch with my darling son Nick.
I also had a breakfast out with my friend Tammie, a visit to Yogurtland with my friend Nanc, and a lunch out with my mother-in-law and sister-in-law. I recieved many lovely gifts and all in all,I've felt very loved by many.
The down side to the month is that my back has been giving me alot of trouble and Mom has also had a couple doctors appointments that we had to get to. the good thing is that Mom is fine and my back is doing better.
I have been working on some fun things!
Here is the silk ribbon that I've been handsewning,it's made from all kinds of silk scraps that I have saved. Each connection has a few teeny sequins and beads,so there's a bit of sparkle along the length of it.
Each one is about one yard long and I'm hoping to put them up for sale soon.
Now for the winner of the give-away! The peace bead,(and some other goodies),goes to Tammie! Please e-mail me your address and I will get it out to you.
