Remembering the Light

Tonight the time changes here,and while the light has been changing for the season,we will now have the darkness arrive much sooner in the afternoons. I'm not a big fan of this aspect of the upcoming winter,I don't like the cold and the dark. I've been trying to enjoy this gorgeous weather so that I can remember it and wrap that warm memory around me like a comfy blanket when needed this winter.

I took this photo the other day when I noticed the shadows on my bedroom wall. The walls look white here,but they are actually a lovely pale green and the late afternoon light the shines upon them is wonderful,the whole room almost glows for a short time in that part of the day.
